For release 260 on Alter Ego Records we have Japeboy, with his track 'Playful'. The original is vibrant and punchy. There's quite a groove to the bassline and acids, soft pianos, plucks and swirling pads. A real melodic trance journey that slowly fades in to soft pads and heavenly atmosphere. The lead is bright and 'Playful' which makes this a perfect trance track.
The first of two remixes comes from Nuestro, who has produced a lovely progressive version of the track that keeps the groove although more chilled out for a more summer vibe. Second up is Alex Byrka with a slow but very chunky remix. Huge basslines, beautiful breakdown and a electro infused monster drop to polish off this great release.
